One Army jawan killed in encounter with terrorists at Tral subdivision in Pulwama

One Army jawan was today killed and another injured in an encounter with terrorists at Tral subdivision in Pulwama district. 

Security sources told that the gunfight started after an anti-terror operation was launched in the area on the basis of specific information about the presence of terrorists



there. 

Two Army personnel was injured, one of whom succumbed to injuries later.

The sources said, the terrorists, two to three in number, have fled into the forest area. An army helicopter has been pressed into service to trace them.
