Issuing of CNG stickers will be stopped from today at all CNG stations in Delhi and NCR except CGO complex station during the period of implementation of odd-even scheme for cars.
The decision to this effect was taken by Delhi government in consultation with the Indraprastha Gas Limited, IGL following a complaint regarding issuing of CNG sticker to non CNG vehicle at Vivek Vihar CNG station in the city. CNG cars having CNG stickers are exempted from odd-even

scheme.
Briefing reporters, Transport Minister Gopal Rai said, CNG station located at CGO Complex in Delhi will now issue sticker to the vehicle from 6 AM today till 15th of January for the vehicles of Delhi and NCR. He said, so far 3 lakh 90 thousand stickers have been issued which is enough and there is no need to issue stickers from all CNG stations.
Mr Rai said, an IGL employee involved in illegal issue of sticker has been suspended and an FIR has been registered against him.
