Notifications for assembly elections issues today in Uttarakhand

The notification for Assembly elections in Uttarakhand will be issued today. Polling for all 70 constituencies will be held in the state on 15th February in a single phase. With the issuing of this notification the polling process would start to elect the 4th assembly in the state. The nomination would be filled up



till 27th January and will be scrutinized on 30th January while 1st February is the last date for withdrawal. The district and other assistant returning officers have made arrangements in their offices for filling of nominations. The number of security personnel at sensitive places has been also increased.
