Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari will inaugurate four lane flyover at the Nagpur- Amravati highway in Nagpur city this evening in the presence of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. 

The 2.85-kilometre-long 4-lane flyover constructed at a cost of rupees 191 crore will connect Nagpur University campus square to the Regional Traffic Office- RTO in Nagpur. With this flyover, the heavy traffic congestion along the area will be reduced.

service road alongside the flyover will also have a dedicated cycle track, footpaths on both sides of the road and provision of street lights for improved safety and enhanced security.
 
 
This flyover is constructed by the National Highway Division of the State Public Works Department (PWD). This is the second flyover on the Nagpur Amravati Highway stretch, which will also reduce the distance between the commercial hub -Wadi town of Nagpur district and Nagpur city.
