Nirbhaya case convict Vinay Sharma tries to hang himself in jail

Nirbhaya case convict Vinay Sharma allegedly attempted to hang himself in Tihar Jail on Thursday, according to reports. Sharma has been admitted to a hospital in New Delhi.

He is one of the six

convicted for the gang rape and murder of a 23-year old girl in Delhi in 2012.

Ram Singh, the main accused in the case, was found dead in Tihar Jail in March 2013.

More details awaited.
