Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will lay the foundation stone for a Rs 5,400 crore plant by ReNew Energy Global at Rambilli in Anakapalli district on Thursday, marking a significant push to industrial growth in North Andhra. 

As part of the project, the company will establish a 6 GW solar ingot-wafer manufacturing unit with an investment of Rs 4,200 crore, along with a 125 MW hybrid captive renewable power project



worth Rs 1,200 crore. Both projects are expected to be completed within two years.

With this development, Anakapalli is poised to further strengthen its position as a key industrial hub in Andhra Pradesh. 

The district has already drawn national and global attention following the foundation of the ArcelorMittal steel plant, and this latest investment is expected to enhance its industrial profile.
