Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday rejected his Telangana counterpart A. Revanth Reddy’s claim that the coalition NDA government in the state halted the Rayalaseema Lift Project at the Congress leader’s request.
The Telugu Desam Party-led government termed as “factually incorrect and misleading” the remarks made
by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy in the Telangana Legislative Assembly on Saturday night while replying to a debate on a short discussion on Krishna waters.
The Andhra Pradesh government clarified that there is no truth in Revanth Reddy’s claim that the project was stopped at his request and out of respect by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.
