On the occasion of his birthday, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu along with his wife Bhuvaneshwari, visited the Patamata Anna Canteen in Vijayawada and had breakfast.
After having breakfast, the Chief Minister enquired locals about the implementation of government schemes. Interacting with them, he asked about the free bus travel, auto driver service, “Thalliki Vandanam,” and other schemes.
A Muslim woman said that minorities were
receiving recognition under the coalition government. Naidu asked about an auto driver’s family details.
The driver said that his younger son could not continue his studies and was now assisting him in the auto-driving profession along with him.
“It’s not that he couldn’t study. You just couldn’t convince him,” the Chief Minister commented lightheartedly. Several beneficiaries told Naidu that they were happy to have breakfast at the Anna canteen.
