Mumbai: Mumbai is witnessing incessant rains for the third day today. In last 24 hours, Mumbai recorded 183 mm of rainfall as the city woke up today with moderate to heavy rainfall in its various parts. However, there are no instances of major water logging yet as there was some respite from rain during the night. There were reports of water logging in some parts of the city yesterday including Hindmata, Santacruz, Andheri and some other parts of western and central



suburbs.

 A few routes of the BEST have also been diverted. Train services between Dadar and Parel stations in Central Mumbai were disrupted for some time yesterday night, however it was resolved later. 

Meanwhile, the IMD gave an orange alert for today, indicating likely heavy to very heavy rain at isolated places. It said rain activity is likely to subside by the weekend.
