In Madhya Pradesh, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has directed that all officers and employees must refrain from taking leave due to the ongoing excessive rainfall and floods.
During a video conference review of the situation across various districts, he instructed Divisional Commissioners, IGs, Commissioners of Police, District Collectors, and SPs to maintain normalcy despite the heavy
rainfall, ensure timely precautions, and carry out rescue operations.
The Chief Minister said that relief camps should be set up to provide safety and facilities to the people affected by excessive rainfall and floods. Due to the continuous rain in the state for the last few days, flood-like situations have arisen in many districts.
