In Bihar, the Monsoon session of the state legislature will begin today. In the short session of both the Houses, total five sittings will be held. The session will end on 25th July. It will be the last session of 17th Bihar Assembly, as the assembly elections are expected to be held during October -November this year. The First Supplementary Budget demand for the current financial year will be presented in the state assembly today. More than 10 legislative and
amendment bills are expected to be introduced during the session.
The session is likely to be stormy as the RJD-Congress led opposition Grand Alliance has announced to corner the Chief Minister Nitish Kumar led NDA government on the deteriorating law and order situation in the state. The government has said that it is ready to answer all questions and issues raised by the opposition.
