Modi greets people of Telangana on their Statehood Day

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has greeted the people of Telangana on their Statehood Day today. In a tweet, Mr Modi hoped that the state progresses to new heights in the years to come. 

India's 29th state Telangana is celebrating the second year of its formation



today. Telangana came into existence on 2nd of June, 2014 as per the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act passed in Parliament.

Prime Minister also conveyed his greetings to the people of Andhra Pradesh and wished as the state continues to develop at a rapid pace.
