Minor Girl Kidnapped While Sleeping with Parents in Visakhapatnam

A four-year-old girl was allegedly kidnapped while she was sleeping with her parents on a footpath in Visakhapatnam. The couple who earn their livelihood by doing odd jobs, had arrived in Visakhapatnam from Vijayawada three days ago. 

The couple was sleeping on a footpath along with their four-year-old daughter. At around 2.30 am, the parents woke up and noticed that their daughter was missing. They immediately approached the police and lodged a



complaint.

Following the complaint, police registered a case and examined CCTV footage. The investigation reportedly revealed that two persons on a scooter had taken the child towards Gajuwaka.

Based on the scooter number, police identified the suspects as Pratibha, a native of S. Rayavaram, and Upendra of Girividi. Police have formed three teams to trace the missing child and nab the suspects. Further details are awaited.
