Minister H. D. Kumaraswamy Launches Revamped Steel Ministry Website

Steel and Heavy Industries Minister H. D. Kumaraswamy yesterday launched the new website of the Ministry of Steel in New Delhi. In a social media post, Mr Kumaraswamy said that the revamped website will empower all stakeholders with timely and vital information.

Designed to enhance transparency, accessibility, and efficiency, the website features a user-friendly interface, enhanced cybersecurity, and compliance with Guidelines for Indian Government Websites (GIGW) for accessibility.



Key features of the website include modern design, policy documents, industry data, and information on initiatives.

The website is available in multiple Indian languages and offers comprehensive information on the Indian steel industry, including production statistics, policy updates, and details on various schemes and initiatives. It also includes interactive tools, a responsive design for seamless access across devices, and regular updates.
