Manohar Lal discusses SYL issue with Bhupinder Singh Hooda in Chandigarh

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal yesterday discussed the SYL issue with former Chief Minister Bhupender Singh Hooda, Finance Minister Captain Abhimanyu, BJP State President Subhash Barala and former minister Sampat Singh.

Giving details Subhash Barala said that the matter was discussed in the wake of Punjab cabinet's decision to de notify the land acquired



for construction of SYL Canal and return it to its original owners. He said Mr Hooda has come with Congress MLAs to extend support on this issue. He said that Mr Hooda has assured that they will assure any government's move on SYL. He said that Haryana Cabinet also condemned the Punjab government's move against the Supreme Court's verdict.
