Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand met Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Seva Teerth, New Delhi, yesterday. 

Deputy Chief Ministers of state, Nemcha Kipgen and Losii Dikho, also accompanied the Chief Minister during the meeting.

This is the first time Mr



Khemchand met the Prime Minister since he assumed office as the Chief Minister on the 4th of this month.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister briefed Prime Minister Modi on the steps taken by his government to bring peace and harmony to the state. They also invited the Prime Minister to visit the State.
