A 45-year-old person has been arrested for killing seven people, including his wife and members of her family, in a case suspected to have stemmed from domestic discord.
The accused, identified as Indushekhar alias Shekhar, said to be a cab driver, is suspected of carrying out the murders over the past few days at his house near Bashyam Circle in Rajajinagar and subsequently disposing of the bodies at different
locations.
The deceased have been identified as Shekhar's wife Sunitha, mother-in-law Roopavathi, Sunitha's brothers Shivakumar and Shankar, sisters-in-law Divya and Nalini, and seven-year-old Puneeth, son of Shankar.
The Rajajinagar police have arrested the accused and initiated an investigation. The case came to light after Nalini went missing, following which her mother approached the Srirampura police and filed a missing-person complaint.
