Former West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has demanded repolling in West Bengal and sought the arrest of Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar in a scathing attack on the Election Commission. The Trinamool Congress chief said, "The SIR process was started to capture Bengal and dethrone the TMC government." Mamata alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) came to power through conspiracy and with the help of the Election Commission. "Before SIR, the BJP's IT cell officer Seema Khanna deleted the name of 58 lakh people before SIR with the help of AI, and during the SIR process, 34 lakh names got deleted," she said. 

"The SIR is now a special incentive for the ruling party and not Special Intensive Revision (SIR). Today, the ruling dispensation is running a joint venture company with Election Commission to



rob elections," she said in her FB live. "The BJP robbed the elections in Bengal, Bihar, and Haryana to get the throne. I am challenging BJP to conduct 'free and fair' elections again in Bengal and see if you can win," she added.

The former CM said that all the parties of the INDIA alliance will soon meet and decide the future of our next movement against the BJP. "I am calling for a mass uprising against the ruling dispensation," she said.
