Maharashtra's EC asks political parties to submit d contact details immediately

Mumbai: Maharashtra’s State Election Commission has asked all registered political parties to submit their d contact details to the Commission immediately. In a statement, the commission yesterday said such details are necessary in view of the upcoming local body polls.

Stating that 305 political parties are listed in Maharashtra, the poll panel said, details such as an d address, phone number, email address and



information about the party’s executive members must be disclosed at the earliest by all those parties, who are yet to submit the details.

The details can either be sent by post to the Commission’s office at State Election Commission, 1st Floor, New Administrative Building, Hutatma Rajguru Chowk, Madam Cama Marg, Mumbai- 400 032. or via e-mail at sec.mh@gov.in
