Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray urged the people to celebrate the ensuing Navratri and Dussera festival in a restrained manner in view of the Corona pandemic.  He said everyone should cooperate in this festival in the same way as they cooperated during Ganpati Utsav, so that the spread of Corona can be stopped.

Thackeray said people should celebrate Navratri as simply as Ganeshotsav without crowding and follow the instructions, guidance and vigilance issued

by the government regarding corona.

He said the use of masks, adherence to social distance, hygiene should be taken care of so that the spread of corona can be prevented with the participation of all.

The CM said just like the circular issued by the government regarding the celebration of Ganpati Utsav, a guideline circular will be issued soon regarding Navratri and Dussera festivals as well.
