Andhra Pradesh Human Resource Development Minister Nara Lokesh on Monday laid the foundation stone for a 1,000-bed private hospital here.

The facility will be built in two phases and comprise the main hospital campus and an adjoining nursing college.

It will



also house a paramedic training centre, a research laboratory and an artificial intelligence centre. 

The first phase, with 650 beds, is expected to become operational by October 2028.Once fully operational, the hospital is expected to employ around 9,000 people.
