Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla leads Parliamentary delegation to UAE from Feb 21 to 25

New Delhi: Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla is leading a Parliamentary delegation to the UAE from today to 25th February. This is the first ever visit under the bilateral exchange of Parliamentary Delegations from either side. The delegation includes Sushil Kumar Modi, Dr. Fauzia Tahseen Ahmed Khan, Dr. MK Vishnu Prasad, P. Ravindhranath, Shankar Lalwani and Dr. Sujay Radhakrishna Vikhepatil.  

         

During their visit to UAE, the delegation will meet their host Saqr Gobash, Speaker of the Federal National Council of UAE. They will also call on Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of



Abu Dhabi and Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE.  

       

The delegation will also meet Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan and Foreign Affairs Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.  

         

The Lok Sabha Speaker will have the rare honour of addressing the Federal National Council of UAE on 22nd of this month. The Delegation will also visit places of cultural and historical importance at Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
