Lok Sabha adopt resolution appealing for peace in Manipur

New Delhi: The Lok Sabha has adopted a resolution appealing for peace in Manipur. After Home Minister Amit Shah concluded his intervention on the no-confidence motion, he suggested that Speaker Om Birla read out a resolution appealing for peace in Manipur.

The suggestion

made by the Home Minister was supported by Deputy Leader of the House and Union Minister Rajnath Singh. Mr Birla then read out the resolution which was adopted by the House. All NDA members enthusiastically supported it in the presence of the opposition.
