Jammu and Kashmir Lt Governor Manoj Sinha has asked officials to scale up vaccination in all districts of the union territory during the Teeka Utsav. The Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir also joins the nation in its celebration of four day Teeka Utsav that commenced yesterday.
 
On the first day of the Teeka Utsav, 30,201 vaccine doses of COVID-19 were administered across Jammu and Kashmir to Frontline Workers, Healthcare Workers and the



citizens aged 45 years and above. Out of these, 15,477 doses were administered in Jammu Division and the rest 14,724 vaccine doses were administered in the Kashmir Division.
 
Meanwhile,  the cumulative vaccine doses administered in Jammu and Kashmir so far is 13,33,729 out of which 6,92,156 doses were administered in Jammu Division and 6,41,573 vaccine doses were administered in the Kashmir Division.
