Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju allayed fears of an alleged incursion by Chinese troops at Uttarakhand border and described it as a small incident. Talking to media in New Delhi yesterday, Mr Rijiju said, According to DG ITBP briefing, there was no big intrusion like situation. 
The Minister added that since the



border is not marked between China and India, the two sides held talks. Earlier Uttarakhand Chief Minsiter Harish Rawat raised alarm over an alleged incursion by Chinese troops in Chamoli district. Rawat, however, retracted his statement and said, his government noticed an increase in the number of Chinese troops along the border.
