Khadi Mahotsav 2025 Launched With Nationwide Discounts On Khadi Products

Home Minister Amit Shah has appealed the people of the country to purchase Khadi products worth at least five thousand rupees annually. 

He said, such initiative will provide employment to millions of people and bring light into their lives.

 Talking to reporters after launching a nationwide discount sale on Khadi products in New Delhi today, Mr Shah said, the sales of Khadi and village industry products have increased five fold in the last eleven



years, from 33 thousand crore rupees to over one lakh 70 thousand crore rupees. 

He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, through his Mann Ki Baat program, has promoted the idea of Swadeshi, inspiring the people of the country to connect it with economic development. 

A discount of 20 percent on Khadi garments and 10 percent on Khadi village industry products will be given to customers from today till 5th November during Khadi Mahotsav 2025.
