Nine personnel of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) were injured when suspected militants lobbed a grenade at a camp in south Kashmir on Tuesday evening.
Hours later, a CRPF camp of the 130 Batallion in Padgampora area of Pulwama district came under a grenade attack. No injuries or damages were caused in this attack as the grenade had not exploded inside the camp, a CRPF spokesperson said.
This was the third attack on the force in last 24 hours. Police said that militants had fired UBGL at CRPF camp in Tral late on Monday night. Minor injury to a personnel were



reported.
The spokesperson said that the Laryar attack took place at about 6 pm on the camp of F 180 Batallion in Laryar area of Tral. The condition of three out of the nine injured was reported to be serious.
The three are believed to have suffered splinter injuries and have been taken to a hospital.
"Search operations are on. First priority is to evacuate the injured," the spokesperson added.
A sub- inspector of the force and three policemen were injured in a grenade attack on a security picket at Saraf Kadal in downtown Srinagar on Sunday.
