Karnataka RTC Bus Hits Lorry in Tirupati, 16 injured

A speeding Karnataka RTC bus collided with a stationary lorry on NH-71 near Chembadipalem village in Pellakuru mandal of Tirupati district on Friday. 

According to reports, 16 people were severely injured in the accident and were shifted to the Naidupet Government Hospital for



treatment. 

Pellakuru CI Sangameshwara Rao and SI Adhi Lakshmi reached the spot immediately after receiving the information. 

A case has been registered, and police officials are carrying out rescue operations. Further details are awaited.
