The Karnataka government has announced a one-time 50% concession on penalties for pending traffic violation cases recorded through the Police Department's mobile e-challan system.

Mobile e-challans are digital traffic violation notices issued via SMS or

email.

As per a government order dated August 21, the concession will be available from August 23 to September 12.

The Bengaluru Traffic Police said fines can be paid through its official website, mobile app, or at the nearest traffic police station.
