Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai expresses happiness over victory of BJP in Municipal by-polls

Bengaluru: Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has expressed happiness over the victory of BJP in by-polls in Vijayapura City Corporation, Kollegal Town Municipality, and Savanur Town Panchayat yesterday.

He has complimented all the winners on his Twitter handle. Of the total 35 seats, BJP has won 17 seats in Vijayapura City Corporation; six out of the seven seats in



Kollegal Town Municipality, and one seat in Savanur Town Panchayat. 

The CM has thanked Vijayapura City MLA Basangouda Patil Yatnal, Kollegal MLA N.Mahesh, and Leaders and workers of Shiggaon Assembly segment. He said that it is the indicator for the blooming of lotus all over the State in the 2023 Assembly elections next year
