The Kanwar Yatra, filled with devotion and faith during the holy month of Shravan, has reached its final phase. Millions of devotees who set out from Haridwar carrying sacred Ganga water are now heading toward Shiva temples across the country to perform Jalabhishek. At many places, the holy act of Jalabhishek has already begun.

Since the beginning of the Kanwar Yatra in Haridwar until yesterday evening, more than 40 million Shiva Bhakts have collected Ganga water and commenced their journey. The

presence of Dak Kanwariyas in Haridwar has transformed the atmosphere into one completely immersed in devotion to Lord Shiva.

Meanwhile, in Uttarakhand, large crowds of devotees are also gathering at various sacred Shiva shrines such as Kedarnath, Tungnath, Jageshwar, and Neelkanth for Jalabhishek. Pilgrims carrying Ganga water are now making their way to these holy sites, where they offer the water to Lord Shiva and complete this virtuous pilgrimage.
