Health and Family Welfare Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda highlighted the need for greater understanding of HIV and AIDS on the occasion of World AIDS Day today.
In a social media post, he emphasised the importance of preventive measures and early testing to curb the spread of the virus.
He
said that the day serves as an opportunity to stand in solidarity with those infected and affected by HIV, while also dispelling myths and misconceptions about its transmission.
Mr. Nadda also said that raising awareness, combating the stigma and discrimination associated with HIV and AIDS are collective responsibilities for society.
