As a feature of the evaucation procedure of abandoned occupants of the UT of J&K from different pieces of the nation, abandoned due to Covid-19 lockdown, J&K Government has so far cleared more than 1 lakh 12 thousand abandoned inhabitants.

News Jammu Correspondent reports that J&K Government has evacuated nearly 1, 12, 513 stranded residents amidst strict observance of all necessary guidelines and SOPs. J&K administration has received 45 special trains at Jammu and Udhampur railway stations from different states and UTs, with 35,278 stranded passengers while about 77,235 persons have been evacuated through Lakhanpur till date.
