Former Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar has vacated his official residence, nearly 40 days after his surprise resignation from the post citing health reasons. He has temporarily shifted to a private farmhouse in Delhi’s Chhatarpur, owned by Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) leader Abhay Chautala, until his government-allotted bungalow is
ready.
The government has allocated a bungalow for Dhankhar on APJ Abdul Kalam Road in the capital. However, the property requires extensive renovations, which are expected to take about three months.
However, former Vice President Jagdeep has not yet approached the Urban Development Ministry to request an official residence, sources said earlier.
