Jagdeep Dhankhar to be sworn in as 14th Vice President of India today

New Delhi: Former West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar will be sworn in as 14th Vice President of India today. President Droupadi Murmu will administer him the oath of office at 12:30 PM. The Vice President is also the chairman of the Rajya Sabha. Mr. M Venkaiah Naidu's term as Vice President ended



yesterday.  

During Vice Presidential poll, Mr. Dhankhar as NDA candidate defeated Opposition nominee Margaret Alva by a massive margin of 528 votes to 182. The election was held on 6th of this month.
