The ISRO has successfully completed the second Integrated Air Drop Test (IADT-02) as part of preparations for India’s first human spaceflight mission, Gaganyaan. 

Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh congratulated ISRO on the achievement, stating that the test represents a significant milestone in ensuring mission readiness for the



upcoming crewed spaceflight programme. 

The Gaganyaan mission, India’s first human spaceflight initiative, is currently scheduled for next year. 

The successful completion of the air drop test is considered an important step in validating recovery systems and overall mission safety mechanisms.
