India’s growth rests on productive citizens through inclusive education: Hardeep Puri

Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Singh Puri has said that education must remain at the heart of India’s development journey. 

Addressing a seminar on School Education in the country in New Delhi, Mr Puri stressed that education is fundamental to the nation’s growth. He underlined that India’s journey from a four trillion dollar



economy today to a 35 trillion dollar economy by 2047 rests on nurturing a generation of responsible and productive citizens through universal, high-quality, and inclusive education. The Minister said, significant gains in literacy, enrolment and school infrastructure achieved since constitutional guarantee of Right to Education.
