Indian International Science Festival begins in Lucknow

A four-day India International Science Festival (IISF) 2018 kicked off in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh yesterday. 

The subject of this year's festival is science for transformation. Union science and technology minister Dr Harsh Vardhan opened the event. President Ramnath Kovind will formally inaugurate the festival today.

Union Minister said that government has started many important programmes to promote Scientists specially young  Scientists. 

He said earlier we were taking about brain drain, but now time has changed and everybody is talking about brain gain. Dr. Harsh Vardhan also talked with children in science village at NBRI.
