In Gujarat, as many as 185 people were granted Indian citizenship under the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) at a programme held in Rajkot yesterday. Minister of State for Home Harsh Sanghvi handed over citizenship certificates to the recipients, who were people displaced from Pakistan and settled in the districts of Kutch, Morbi,



and Rajkot. The Minister assured the newly naturalized citizens of the government’s full support and promised that they would be provided with the benefits of all relevant government schemes.      

During the ceremony, beneficiaries expressed deep gratitude to the Government.
