India’s security agencies are keeping a close watch on the fast-developing situation in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) after massive anti-government protests erupted in the region.
Over 150 people are believed to be dead in police firing on Sunday though there was no official confirmation or numbers
available.
The PoK leaders have threatened to move towards the Line of Control and cross over to India if brutalities by the Pakistani authorities continue.
They have also appealed to Kashmiris on the Indian side to help them with food, medicines and other supplies as the Pakistani administration has cut off supplies to put pressure on them.
