Union Chemicals and Fertilisers Ministry held a bilateral meeting with the Industry and Minerals Ministry of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to further strengthen bilateral cooperation between the two nations in the Chemicals and petrochemicals sector.
The meeting was led by the Vice Minister of Industry and Minerals of Saudi Arabia, Khalil bin Ibrahim bin Salamah and Union Chemicals and Petrochemicals Secretary, Nivedita Shukla Verma.
During the meeting, the discussions
focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation, promoting investments, and exploring new areas of collaboration in this sector.
In a statement, the Ministry said that both nations agreed to collaborate in the field of research and development, along with skill development in the sector. It added that both sides reaffirmed their commitment to build a sustainable and mutually beneficial partnership in the sector, further strengthening the strategic and economic ties between India and Saudi Arabia.
