India must emerge as key manufacturer across several sectors in next two years: Amitabh Kant

NITI Aayog CEO Amitabh Kant who was also present in the webinar emphatically asserted that India must emerge as a key manufacturer across several sectors linking it to the global supply chain in the next two years.

Mr. Kant asserted that the NITI Aayog is actively engaged in handholding the companies, allowing them to become



global champions. He added that the government has made the process of approval for Production Linked Incentives, PLI very simple and easy.

Mr. Kant urged the private sector companies to accept the challenge of delivery in terms of production by utilizing the benefits of the PLI scheme.
