India-France joint military drill exercise shakti-2025 to be held in France from June 18

The 8th edition of Exercise Shakti-2025, a joint military exercise between India and France, will be held from 18th June to 1st July at La Cavalerie in France. The aim of the exercise is to enhance the joint military capability of both sides to undertake multi-domain operations in a sub-conventional scenario.

In a social media post, the Indian Army said the joint exercise will facilitate developing



interoperability, bonhomie and camaraderie between the Armies of both nations.

The exercise will enable the two sides to share their best practices in tactics, techniques and procedures of conducting joint operations. This will also enhance the level of defence cooperation, further fostering bilateral relations between the two friendly nations.
