IMD predicts heavy rainfall over Himachal & Rajasthan

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast very heavy rainfall over Himachal Pradesh for today and over East Rajasthan for today and tomorrow. IMD said heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely over isolated places over Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Odisha, Uttarakhand, West Bengal, Sikkim, and the north eastern states tomorrow. Parts of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands,



Bihar, Gangetic West Bengal, Jammu and Kashmir, Gujarat, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, and Jharkhand are expected to witness thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds during the next 2-3 days. 

IMD further predicted hot and humid weather conditions in places over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal tomorrow.
