IMD issues forecast of heavy rainfall in Jammu region

The Meteorological Department has issued a weather advisory for Jammu and Kashmir, forecasting light to moderate rain with heavy to very heavy rainfall in parts of the Jammu division over the next 48 hours. Districts including Poonch, Rajouri, Ramban, Reasi, Udhampur, Jammu, and Kathua are expected to receive



intense showers today and tomorrow. 

Authorities warn of flash floods, landslides, and waterlogging. Farmers are advised to resume operations during the brief dry spell. Residents and travelers are urged to remain cautious.
