IMD Forecasts Heavy To Very Heavy Rainfall Across Multiple Indian States

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places over North-Eastern states, Bihar, Jharkhand, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada and West Bengal today.

Similar conditions are expected over Chhattisgarh, East Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh,

North Interior Karnataka, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Telangana, Uttarakhand and Vidarbha today.

The weather department also predicted thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds over Jammu-Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Jharkhand and Odisha today.
