IMD forecasts heavy rainfall over HP, Uttarakhand and Konkan region today

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall over Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand till today. Heavy rainfall is likely over West Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab during the next two days. Places over Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Chandigarh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Kerala, Mahe, Konkan, Goa, Maharashtra, and the northeastern states are also expected



to witness heavy rainfall during the next 2-3 days. 

IMD further forecast thunderstorms and lightning conditions over Bihar, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Jharkhand, Odisha and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal. Thunder squalls over the Andaman and Nicobar Islands are likely to continue till the 26th of this month.
