Hundreds of people lined up on either side of the main road to greet Prime Minister Narendra Modi during a brief roadshow in Thiruvananthapuram on Friday.
The prime minister stood on the footboard, waving at the crowd as the vehicle moved along, while people showered flowers. Security personnel from
Thiruvananthapuram ran alongside the vehicle.
Smiling broadly, Modi waved continuously amid chants of “Modi, Modi” and “Bharat Mata Ki Jai.” Many had gathered along the Overbridge–East Fort stretch nearly four hours before the event began. People were thrilled to see the prime minister up close.
