Homeopathy Doctor Allegedly Attacks School Teacher in Anantaur

A homeopathy doctor allegedly attacked and slit the throat of a private school teacher in Guntakal, Anantapur district on Thursday. But the incident came to light late. 

According to reports, Aruna, wife of railway employee Krishna Reddy, lives in the Railway Quarters and works as a teacher at Chaitanya English Medium School in Rajendra Nagar. 

About two years ago, Aruna reportedly underwent treatment from homeopathy doctor Srinivas. Over time,



the two became acquainted. However, they had reportedly been arguing over a financial dispute for the past few days.

Aruna had earlier lodged a complaint with the police alleging that Srinivas had behaved inappropriately with her. On Thursday afternoon, Srinivas allegedly attacked Aruna and slit her throat while she was on her way to school after returning home for lunch. She was immediately shifted to the Guntakal Government Hospital for treatment. Her condition is said to be stable.
