Health Workers in Private Health Sector to Get Vaccinated Tomorrow: Telangana

In Telangana, health workers and staff in the private Health sector in the state will be vaccinated against COVID-19, tomorrow onwards. Over one lakh 20 thousand health workers, Sanitation and Medical staff in Public sector have been vaccinated so far in the state.

According to State Public Health Director Dr Srinivas Rao, no case of severe health issues reported so far after vaccination.

Meanwhile, the state reported 197 fresh COVID cases during the past 24 hours. With this, the number of COVID cases reported in the state reached to 2 lakh 93 thousand 253. The state conducted about 30 thousand tests



yesterday.

The recovery rate improved to 98.3 per cent with 376 more people recovering yesterday. This took the number of recovered people so far in the state to 2 lakh 88 thousand 275.

Meanwhile, the daily bulletin issued by the state Medical and Health department this morning stated that total 1589 deaths reported so far, following one more succumbed to COVID and comorbidities during the past 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 32 Covid-19 cases were reported in Hyderabad during the past 24 hours while Karimnagar, Rangareddy, Medchal Malkajgiri districts reported above ten new cases each.
